THE People's Postcode Lottery yesterday announced that KY13 8 in Kinross is the lucky neighbourhood set to receive the much anticipated £1million prize pot on St Andrew's Day (Sunday).
TV favourite Angus Purden will get the party started by handing out winning cheques and celebrating with all the winners and their neighbours.
The Kinross ‘Postcode Belter’ party is the first ever in Scotland and Angus is inviting everyone to join in the celebrations which will be held at 2pm on Sunday at Market Park, The Muirs, Kinross.
Angus told the PA: “We're so excited that we will be celebrating our first ever ‘Postcode Belter’ in Kinross.
“It’s the first time we've ever had a winner in the area – and what a biggy it is! The £1million prize pot is our biggest prize pot so far and I can't wait to see the faces of our lucky players when I hand out cheques for the biggest winnings yet.
“Everyone should come down and join in the celebrations – the party is completely free and will be lots of fun! Not only are Scotland's own Dykeenies set to play but the Scottish Rockettes will also perform.”
