Almondbank driver was over drink limit

WILLIAM Tritton (25) Turbine House, West Cromwellstone, Almondbank, appeared at Perth Sheriff Court where he admitted that, on April 25 on the A9 near Kindallachan, he drove a car with 63mics of alcohol on his breath – the legal limit is 35mics.

Sheriff Robert McCreadie noted that Tritton was banned from driving for 18 months on a drink-driving conviction in 2002.

The sheriff ordered background reports prepared on Tritton, whose sentence was deferred until June 17, with an interim driving ban imposed meantime.
