Fined for racist slur

A RACIALLY aggravated breach of the peace cost a Perthshire woman a £180 fine at Perth Sheriff Court.

Lesley Ann Wilkinson (30), of Smythe Street, Alyth, admitted the offence which took place in the Wellmeadow, Blairgowrie, on September 6 last year.

She conducted herself in a disorderly manner and shouted “black b*****d.”

She will pay the penalty at the rate of £10 a fortnight.
