PEOPLE who combine business skills with an interest in the arts are being offered the chance to become a director of the company which runs Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre.
The Horsecross Arts board is made up of chair and vice-chair, three elected representatives of Perth and Kinross Council and up to 12 other members selected on ability, expertise and experience.”
Board chairman Iain Halliday explained: “We want a board that represents the public, private and voluntary sectors and are looking for people with skills from a range of sectors.
Since Horsecross Arts was created five years ago, when Perth Concert Hall opened, the organisation has welcomed acts across the cultural spectrum.
A recent independent economic impact study reported that last year 177,855 people visited Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre.
