Festival full of gusto
THIS weekend (June 14 and 15) sees Scotland’s only wind festival take to the skies.
Just Add Wind, held at Balado, home of T in the Park, is a two-day showcase for all forms of wind-powered activities.
Alongside traction kiters, static kiting displays, buggies, land boards and land yachts, the micro-lights from Pegasus at Scone will be flying in over the weekend.
The event is free for the public to come and watch and there will be some taster sessions available. Gates are open from 10am until 5pm.
On Sunday, a cheque will be presented to the RNLI, the event’s chosen charity, and they are also hosting some events by local air cadets who, in return, are marshalling the car parking.
