Treats are on course

RACEGOERS will get the chance to sample the best local produce, arts and crafts that the Big County has to offer at this year’s Perthshire Showcase.

It is being held at the Scone Racecourse on Wednesday and Thursday, July 2 and 3.

A wide range of locally made food and drink will be on offer, as well as jewellery and art created by local talent.

Stalls will also be selling a variety of racing memorabilia, pictures, clothing and other equestrian-related products.

The event, organised by Perth Racecourse in partnership with Perth and Kinross Council, will be completed by a full card of National Hunt racing.
