POOR air quality in Perth has triggered a series of events next week as national levels are not being met in some city centre areas.
A draft air quality action plan has been developed by the council to identify potential ways to improve air quality and between Monday, June 9 and Friday, July 25, public comments are being invited.
A public meeting will be held at the Quality Station Hotel on Monday, June 9, at 7pm. Drop-in sessions are also being held between 10am and noon on Wednesday, June 11 – Blairgowrie Library; Thursday, June 12 – Auchterarder Library; Friday, June 13 – Crieff Library; Monday, June 16 – Coupar Angus Library; Tuesday, June 17 – Kinross Housing Office; Wednesday, June 18 – Pitlochry Library; Thursday, June 19 – Aberfeldy Library.
