Sneak-in thefts warning issued

POLICE are investigating a spate of sneak-in thefts in Perth.

In Muirton a handbag was stolen from a house left unlocked on Tuesday night in Bute Drive.

The morning before, items were stolen from a handbag when a house on Perth’s Jura Street was broken into at 3am on Monday.

A man was seen fleeing the scene.

And a property left unlocked on Perth’s Rannoch Road was entered at around 11.30 on Sunday night.

But the intruder, who was raking through the back bedroom of the property, fled the scene through a window when the homeowner approached the room.
