FUEL thefts continue to drain the county with hundreds of gallons stolen within the last few days.
A whopping 300 gallons of red diesel has been stolen from a bowser in Crieff within the last week.
The £600-worth of fuel was siphoned from the derelict Hosh Farm Steadings in the Glenturret area sometime between midday last Tuesday, June 24, and 5pm this Tuesday, July 1.
Anyone who was in the Glenturret area and who saw anything suspicious, particularly a suspicious vehicle, is urged to call the police.
And closer to Perth, 20 litres of diesel was stolen from business premises on Ruthvenfield Avenue.
The fuel was taken from lorries parked at the Smart Loos property sometime between 6pm on Tuesday and 7.40am on Wednesday.
Luckily the vehicles hadn’t been left with much fuel in their tanks overnight so the amount of diesel stolen was limited.
Anyone with information about the theft of fuel in Perth and Kinross is urged to contact local police by calling 0845 600 5705.
