THE search is on to find the best local businesses in this year’s Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Star Awards.
And to help those keen to enter the race for the coveted “Perthshire Business of the Year” title, the Chamber has organised an evening class dedicated to preparing a potentially winning application form.
Business manager Vicki Unite explained: “We have called on expert help to show people how to fill out a business awards competition application, covering everything from appearance, content, length and impact.
“This provides real confidence to many people unsure of how to profile their business at its best.”
The free teach-in will be help at the Algo Business Centre in Glenearn Road, Perth, on Tuesday, August 26, from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. The class will be led by marketing and PR expert Tricia Fox, managing director of Volpa Ltd.
Booking for this free event can be made by calling the Chamber office on 01738 450401.
Closing date for this year’s awards is September 22 with the winners showcased at a glittering awards dinner in Crieff Hydro on November 20.
