Leisure escapes strike action

PERTH and Kinross Leisure will have the ‘Business as Usual’ signs up tomorrow when the public sector workers take industrial action.

The long standing ‘not for profit’ local Leisure Trust that operates nine leisure facilities throughout the area is an independent company with charitable status and therefore is not affected by the strike.

Jim Moyes, PKL’s Chief Executive said “I am delighted that PKL can continue to provide services as usual on Wednesday.”
