LEGENDARY DJ Paul Oakenfold, pictured, and the Vengaboys will be the star attractions at the Ice Factory this weekend.The trance specialist will be playing a one-off set at the Perth club, before an appearance from the reformed Euro popsters.Oakenfold (45) was first recognised as one of the UK’s leading hip-hop authorities in the mid-1980s while working for Champion Records.He released his first official studio album, Bunkka, in 2002, selling over a million copies.During his career he has remixed a variety of Madonna tracks, including What It Feels Like For A Girl, Hollywood, American Life, Sorry and this year, Give It 2 Me from her album Hard Candy.Oakenfold also toured with the singer for two months and previously supported her at Slane Castle in 2004.Oakenfold will play a set at the Ice Factory on Saturday from 10.30pm-12.30am.Straight afterwards, Dutch dance popsters The Vengaboys will be performing live in the Shore Road venue’s Room 2.Clubbers can look forward to hearing the Nineties boy-girl band’s biggest hits, including Boom Boom Boom Boom, We’re Going To Ibiza, We Like To Party and Sex On The Beach.pictured, and the Vengaboys will be the star attractions at the Ice Factory this weekend.Read
