AN ELDERLY Highland Perthshire woman who crashed her car into another vehicle has been ordered to show her competence behind the wheel before she appears in court.

Margaret Rosina Walker (77) is charged with driving without due care and attention after colliding with another car on Pitlochry’s Atholl Road on June 18.

Walker, of Aldour Gardens, must now be assessed by an approved driving instructor before she is called to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on October 14.
