T festival stab charge

A 24-YEAR-OLD man from Glasgow appeared in private at Perth Sheriff Court this week charged with attempting to murder a man at this year’s T in the Park music festival at Balado.

Robert Kidd is alleged to have attempted to murder Mark Morrison (22), from Airdrie, on July 13 by repeatedly stabbing him with a sharp instrument.

The petition also alleges that Mr Kidd made assaults on females at the music festival.

He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody while the case was continued.
