The new season will feature a skills/games session for boys and girls aged 3 to 14, as well as leagues for 12 - 14 year olds and 15 - 17 year olds.
Any players / teams wishing to participate in the new season should register asap as places are limited to eight teams per age group and many entries have already been received. Player registration fee is £2 and sessions cost £1.
Perth Youth Futsal are continuing their participation in the Scottish Futsal League (Perth) and have re-entered two of their teams, PYF Allstars and PYF Samba Kingz. Both secured opening day wins last Monday with PYF Allstars winning 7-1 and PYF Samba Kingz winning 6-0.
Preparations are already underway for upcoming trips, with PYF invited to participate in two prestigious events in Belgium in November, including an U21 tournament featuring top European Futsal nations Spain, Belgium and France. Plans are also being considered for 2009 trips to Spain, Cyprus, Croatia and Italy, so it looks like another exciting 12 months.
Anyone interested in becoming a PYF Coach and/or Referee is invited to contact the club. These positions are on a voluntary basis and full training will be given.
The PYF website is being revised and should be up to date by the end of the week - scottishfutsal.co.uk
