CONCERN is growing for Perth pensioner James Forbes who has been missing for over a week from his home in Pitcullen Terrace in the Bridgend area of Perth.
He has not been seen since the early hours of last Thursday, August 21, and police are appealing for help to find the 86-year-old.
A police spokesman appealed: “As time passes we have growing concerns and request assistance from anyone who was in the Bridgend area of Perth between 4am and 7am on Thursday, August 21 who may have seen Mr Forbes. Postal workers, delivery drivers or people going to and from their work in the early hours may recall seeing Mr Forbes.”
Mr Forbes is described as 5’4” in height, of slim build with grey receding hair and was believed to be wearing a grey round-neck jersey, green khaki trousers and black shoes. He usually wears a bonnet.
He has relatives in the Arbroath area, so it is possible he has tried to make his way to the Angus coastal town.
Anyone who may have seen Mr Forbes, or who can help police with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Tayside Police as soon as possible on 0845 600 5705.
