Four times legal limit

BACKGROUND reports have been ordered on a Perth man caught driving with almost FOUR times the legal alcohol limit.

In addition, Melville Mudie (45), of Main Street, Bridgend, was a disqualified driver – and didn’t have any insurance.

He pled guilty to the offences which took place on Dunkeld Road, Perth, on August 25. His reading was 130mics. – the legal maximum is 35.

Social inquiry and community service order reports have been called for and a DVLA print-out has been ordered.

The accused will return to Perth Sheriff Court for sentence on September 24.
