A penalty in the second half to Letham ensured an easy victory.

This was followed on Tuesday with a hard fought victory over Bridgeton United in the gloom at Seven Acres by three goals to two.

Tomorrow Vale of Earn are the visitors for a league match.

Letham Lads (sponsored by Stagger Inn): The Lads were unable to keep their one goal advantage against Vale of Atholl last Saturday finally going down by the odd goal in five. Newtyle Hearts are this week's visitors in a league encounter.

Letham U19's (sponsored by J Queen & Son): The team defeated Broughty United by two goals to one in the opening match of their league campaign. This week, they meet Kirrie Thistle.

Letham U15's (sponsored by A.De Cecco): The team used their age advantage by overwhelming the younger Perth Killie. On Sunday they face Fair City.

Letham U14's white (sponsored by Scottish Hydro Electric) The Whites had no answer to the older Perth Killie side last Sunday. This week they are away to Bankfoot Athletic.

Letham U12's tangerine (sponsored by Scott McRae): The team got back on track against Scone Thistle last week after a disappointing display against the club mates in the Sky Blues. On Sunday they are home to Breadalbane/Strathtay.

Letham U12's white (sponsored by David Miller, Electrical Contractor) The team played well in a entertaining and even game against Luncarty last Sunday. No game this weekend.

Letham U12's sky blue (sponsored by Scottish Hydro Electric Plc) Powerful performances last week when they defeated the Tangies for the first time and then narrowly but deservedly accounted for Breadalbane/Strathtay. On Sunday they are at Goodlyburn where they play Luncarty.

Letham U11 tangerine (sponsored by Turriff Contractors) The team played well against Luncarty last week. Due to fixtures being rearranged this week they travel to play Scone Thistle.

Letham U10 tangerines (sponsored by John Gillespie): Last week's scheduled game away to Jeanfield did not take place due to the home team failure to advise match arrangements. On Sunday they visit Luncarty under 9's.

Letham U10 whites (sponsored by Grocer John B Tainsh): The team in found it hard going against a talented Luncarty under 9 team. Home game against Breadalbane on Sunday.

Letham U9 whites (sponsored by Johnston Carmichael): With no game last week, the team are looking forward to the first derby of the season against the Tangerines.

Soccer School (sponsored by Sidey Kitchens, Feus Road) The soccer school for under 8's boys and girls born 2001 (primary 3) will recommence on Saturday 27th, September at Seven Acres Park, Newhouse Road from noon

Letham Girls U9 (soccer school): The soccer school welcomes girls born 2000/2001 to attend coaching classes on Friday evening from 6.30 p.m. at Seven Acres Park, Newhouse Road

Letham Girls U11 (sponsored by Scottish Hydro Electric) The team eagerly await the publication of their fixtures. Meanwhile training continues on Friday evening at Seven Acres with Ian from 6.30 p.m.

Letham Girls U13 (sponsored by Scottish Co-op, Dividend Fund) The girls took part in a ten goal thriller last week at Cupar with the home side just edging a verdict. However this newly formed team played well. Training tonight as usual with John and this is followed tomorrow with a home game against Dundee United SC "B". Meet clubhouse at 9.45 a.m.
