More time to fight against Perth phone mast

OBJECTORS are being given more time to make their feelings known about a controversial telecommunications mast proposed for Perth’s Kinnoull neighbourhood.

Vodafone’s proposals for a site at Muirhall Road, near the Millennium Park were expected to be debated by councillors on Wednesday.

But they were removed from the agenda at the last minute because they had attracted a lot of comment but extensive research revealed the proposals hadn’t appeared on the weekly planning list.

That is now to take place to give an opportunity for any further representations to the local authority.
