Zip along for adventure

EAST Perthshire residents with a sense of adventure are in for a busy weekend as Glenshee’s Compass Christian Centre opens its doors to the public tomorrow.

The official opening of the centre’s new 150-metre zip wire will provide the highlight of the day, with the ribbon being cut by Conservative councillor for Blairgowrie and the Glens, Caroline Shiers.

The zip wire is the latest addition the centre’s arsenal of activities for all ages and abilities.

The less adventurous can enjoy archery, a bouncy castle and face painting from 11am in the morning.

Water activities, such as canoeing and kayaking, and the zip wire follow the afternoon.

The day will be rounded off with a barbecue and afternoon tea.
