A HANDBAG was stolen from a Perth church on Sunday.
Within a half-hour window – between noon and 12.30pm, at St Leonard-in-the-Field’s on Perth’s Marshall Place – the bag was taken.
Police are keen to trace a man seen in the area at the time. He has been described as aged between 25 and 35, of slim build, with dark brown hair and was wearing light clothing.
MUSIC faced being taken off the menu at the MacDonald Arms Hotel in Balbeggie when the sound system was stolen.
Between 8pm on Thursday and noon on Friday the music system in the restaurant was stolen. Police are keen to track down a couple who may have been involved in the theft. The male has been described as aged 34-38, six foot tall, thin build, spoke with a Glaswegian accent and was wearing jeans, trainers, white T-shirt, blue top and khaki jacket.
His female accomplice was aged around 26, five foot tall, thin build, she had long dark hair which was tied up and was wearing trainers, blue sports jacket and jeans and also spoke with a Glaswegian accent.
A HOLIDAY chalet has been stripped of its stove and CD player sometime this month.
Within the last three weeks the items were stolen when the wooden chalet at Palmalan Lodge at Glen Sherrup Farm at Glen Devon was broken into.
A SMALL yellow digger has been stolen from Stanley.
Between 8am last Wednesday and 10am on Saturday the digger was driven off from Perth Road.
EFFORTS were made to break into Scottish and Southern Energy’s premises at Dalchonzie near Comrie.
The attempts, between 7.45pm and 10pm on Sunday, were unsuccessful.
