Kinross High pupils to show plays at Perth Studio Theatre

FIRST year pupils taking Advanced Higher Drama will be presenting the short plays they have written and directed at Perth Studio Theatre this week.

The three pupils from Kinross High School, all of whom want to pursue a career in the theatre industry, will give the performance tomorrow at 7.30pm. They have worked with drama staff at the school to raise funds and sell tickets for the performance.

Lifelong Learning Convener, Councillor Liz Grant, said: “The Council is committed to delivering a curriculum for excellence and next week’s performance by these pupils is a prime example of supporting our young people to develop skills for work. This is a particularly special event with the pupils being the first to take this course in Perth and Kinross.”
