Having a ball...for a great cause

BIG-HEARTED Perthshire businesswomen hope to have raised thousands of pounds for PRI’s new Palliative Care Unit at a grand ball on Saturday.

The sell-out event at Scone Palace featured a piper, champagne reception, meal, auction for Macmillan and fantastic local band, LMS. Organisers even hired buses from Stagecoach from Perth city to the Palace.

Yvonne Barrie, Chair of Perth Businesswomen’s Network, told the PA: “It was a truly fantastic night and because the event was for Macmillan, we have had great support.

“I would like to say a huge thank-you to everyone who attended and all those people who worked so hard behind the scenes to create such a memorable event.”
