POLICE are investigating a suspicious incident which took place in the Perth branches of the Early Learning Centre and Marks and Spencers on Saturday afternoon.
Between 4pm and 4.15pm, a young female was followed through both stores by a man.
He has been described as aged 25-35, 5’10” tall, stocky build, bushy eyebrows and with close-set eyes. He was wearing a red baseball cap which bore the Ferrari emblem, a red jacket with black stripes down the sleeves, jeans and tan CAT-style boots.
Anyone who recognises the description of the man is urged to contact the police.
IN A shocking disregard for safety, a glass paperweight was thrown from an upper-floor flat onto a busy street in the centre of Perth on Saturday night.
The weight was thrown from an apartment above Loretta’s clothing store on Murray Street at around 4.10pm and hit a car below.
ON Friday or Saturday the front registration plate was stolen from a BMW.
Reading T66 REE it was taken either while the car was in the Letham area of Perth or parked in Scott Street carpark.
AND another numberplate, this time the rear one, was taken from a Nissan Skyline at the weekend.
Reading M761 TNT the registration plate was taken sometime between 3pm and 5.50pm while the car was parked in St Catherine’s Retail Park.
RAISING suspicion, two men were seen sitting in a car close to Gartwhinzean Farm at Rumbling Bridge in Kinross-shire on Saturday evening.
At 6pm the pair were parked up in a purple/dark blue Vauxhall Astra with a registration number which ended in either VOC or VDC.
NEARBY a significant haul of tools, of a value running into thousands, was stolen from a unit between September 24 and 25.
POLICE are also investigating a break-in to a container next to a house under construction near Blairingone where a quantity of tools were stolen over the weekend.
AND dozens of litres of diesel were stolen from a lorry parked at Brunthill Haulage on Kinross’s Bridgend Industrial Estate.
The theft took place between 4pm and 8pm on Friday.
