Cittaslow celebrates its support

THE first local businesses to be hailed as Cittaslow Supporters were presented with their certificates and stickers yesterday.

Cittaslow have launched a new Supporters Scheme to recognise and promote local businesses that work to Cittaslow principles, which include: Encouraging diversity; supporting local traditions; working for a sustainable environment; encouraging the use of local produce and healthy living.

The first four local businesses to be recognised as Cittaslow Supporters are 63 Tay Street Restaurant, Ballathie Country Kitchen near Stanley, the Brig Farm Shop at Bridge of Earn and Provender Brown Delicatessen.
