Congratulations to all our learners

CERTIFICATES were presented to 89 Perth and Kinross Council employees who have undertaken a range of courses to enhance their skills and experience through the council's learning and development section.

Chief executive Bernadette Malone, executive director of corporate services Gavin Stevenson, Provost John Hulbert and lifelong learning convener Councillor Elizabeth Grant joined the successful candidates for the presentation ceremony at the Royal George Hotel, Perth.

The employees receiving certificates have variously undertaken the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) and Modern Apprenticeships (MAs).

Provost Hulbert welcomed employees to the presentation, before they received congratulations from the chief executive.

Bernadette Malone said: “I would like to congratulate the employees here today who have made a commitment to developing their careers and successfully completed training that will not only benefit them, but also the Council and the citizens we serve on a daily basis.”
