Santas are on the run

FUNDRAISERS are being invited to register for a festive fun run taking place in Perth tomorrow.

The British Heart Foundation Scotland’s sponsored ‘Santa jog’ gets underway on the North Inch at 1pm with Father Christmas suits provided for adult runners in the 5km event.

Event organiser Alison Lunn said just £170 funds a full day’s heart nursing care.

“In this time a heart nurse could see up to six patients to help them manage their condition and prevent another hospital stay,” she said.

Entry for adults costs £10, including a free Santa suit. Children under 14 pay £5. To register, call 0131 555 5891.
