PADS offer up bargains

A PERTHSHIRE shop is launching its Spring sale.

PADS, which is run by the dog rescue charity Perthshire Abandoned Dogs Society, promises to offer the best bargains.

The shop is sited next door to Millets in Perth’s High Street – the same venue as last year – and opens at 10am next Monday, May 4. It will be open from 10am till 4pm every day except Sunday for a month.

A spokesman for PADS said: “Our prices are very competitive in relation to other charity stores and we will be offering some mouth-watering bargains to Perth shoppers. We always get a huge amount of support from the people of Perth and we hope they will come along and buy this year again.”

“PADS low-price strategy means that the store generally has a fast turnover, so the charity appeals for donations of goods to sell.

The store will feature clothes, bric a brac, books, videos and DVDs and much, much more.

Anyone who would like to donate goods should make for Scott Street car park and head for the far right hand corner, where there is a back entrance to PADS store.

On Monday, May 4, at 10 am, the shop opening ceremony will be performed by a special mystery canine celebrity.
