Gleneagles Hotel honoured at top award ceremony

STAFF from Gleneagles Hotel were celebrating yesterday after landing first prize in the British Beauty and Spa Awards.

The resort was named as the spa destination of the year at a ceremony in London.

Compered this year by Dancing on Ice star Michael Underwood, the beauty industry ‘Oscars’ celebrate both business acumen and hands-on treatments.

Gleneagles Spa frontman Jamie Hagan said the award helped cap an “incredible” year for the Auchterarder venue.

“To be recognised amongst your peers as being one of the country’s leading salons is both a wonderful feeling and a great achievement.”
