Perth recycling firm receives award

A PERTH recycling company has become one of the first in Perth and Kinross to lift a top recycling award.

Inveralmond-based Wyllie Recycling Ltd was presented with the accolade by council leader Ian Miller.

The external recognition will allow the company to continue to support the council in meeting the recycling targets for the area.

The company is dedicated to recycling all types of cardboard, paper and plastics, collected from in and around the Tayside, Central and Northern Scotland areas. They also offer a security shredding service.

It has achieved a full Waste Management License and also the internationally-recognised BS EN ISO 9001 (Quality Standard) and BS EN ISO 14001 (Environmental Standard) all in the same month.
