Plans unveiled for windfarm near Muthill

A WELSH company has unveiled plans to build a windfarm between Auchterarder and Muthill.

West Coast Energy is hoping to gain permission to build eight wind turbines – up to 100m high – on land at Standingfauld Farm, two miles southeast of Muthill and 3.5 miles west of Auchterarder.

As part of the pre-planning application consultation, West Coast Energy will be holding a public meeting on Thursday, October 1, in Muthill Village Hall from 2pm until 7.30pm where locals can learn about the company’s plans.
