STRUAN Primary School in Calvine has received a positive follow-up report from HMIe inspectors.
Struan Primary is a rural school, with a roll of four pupils. The acting headteacher has been in post for two years, and is also acting headteacher of Kinloch Rannoch Primary as part of a pilot of share leadership arrangements.
Children’s progress, particularly in reading and writing, was highlighted by the inspectors as was their learning in the outdoor environment, and leadership of the acting headteacher.
