Brides out in force at Perth Concert Hall

BRIG Farm Shop is set to bring a taste of Perthshire to the blushing brides of Scotland this Sunday at the Perthshire Wedding and Civil Partnership Show taking place in Perth’s Concert Hall.

This ambitious event, taken from concept through to delivery by Perth based Eden Events, will be running three full fashion shows on the day, brides will be given an opportunity to check out the new season’s looks firsthand.

Brig’s outside catering arm has sponsored the VIP area in the fashion show lounge and will be on-hand offer tasters of canapés and hors d’ouvres all made using Perthshire produce.

Nicola Martin, manager, said: “We’re delighted to be involved and will be showing couples that a wedding in Perthshire not only offers some of Scotland’s most beautiful scenery and venues but also some of its best producers and most delicious food.”

VIP area tickets will be available from 10am at the main reception. Brig will also be offering tasters in the main foyer and an opportunity to win a £100 voucher for catering your wedding or hen party.

With over 60 exhibitors, three fashion shows, live music, demonstrations, tastings and a variety of prizes and giveaways, the Perthshire Wedding Show will be a must stop for brides to be.

And on top of all that, one lucky visitor will win a complete wedding package at one of the area’s most prestigious venues, the Atholl Palace Hotel in Pitlochry with a full planning, co-ordination and styling package included.

Tracy Pattinson, operations director for Eden Events, said: “Having started our wedding and event planning business in March 2008, we quickly identified the need for a high profile wedding show to showcase the fabulous suppliers and venues we have within Perth and Kinross.”

Michaela Ruff, conference and events manager at Perth Concert Hall added: “With so many fabulous wedding locations on our doorstep, Perth is the ideal venue for the Wedding Show.

“This is the first time we have hosted this event at Perth Concert Hall and we are looking forward to a successful show.
