A 60-YEAR-OLD man has denied fondling an underage girl then offering her and another youth cash for sex during a Perth bus trip.
Joe Yim, of the Fair City’s Maxton Place, pled not guilty at the sheriff court to a charge alleging that on July 22, on a bus travelling between Mill Street and Crieff Road, Perth, he conducted himself in a disorderly manner by engaging two 15-year-old girls in conversation, telling one of them that he had a note of her mobile phone number, following her and offering the pair £20 to have sex.
The charge further alleges that Yim told one of the teenagers he would phone her repeatedly, placed both youngsters in a state of fear and alarm and committed a breach of the peace.
Yim is also charged with using lewd, libidinous, indecent and libidinous practices towards the first girl and placing his hand through a hole in the leg of her trousers and touching and stroking her leg.
Yim will stand trial on January 12, with a preliminary hearing on December 17.
