Goodbye to Caledonian Road kids’ club

TODAY marks the end of an era for Caledonian Road Kids’ Club.

And all former young members and their families, club staff and management committee members are being invited to attend a special last day.

Between 2pm and 5pm at Caledonian Road Primary School, there will be fun and games including face painting and a bouncy castle. Refreshments will be available and everyone is welcome to pop in.

Caley Road Kids’ Club originally opened as an out-of-school club in 1997 organised by a voluntary management committee, before becoming a kids club in 2003.

The busy and successful service has enabled many families to work or take up training opportunities.

As Caley Road Kids’ Club closes, a new extended wraparound care service at Inch View Primary and Nursery School on the new Glenearn Community Campus will open on Thursday, October 22.
