EXTREME sports enthusiasts will be flocking to the Big County if permission is granted for a bungee jump platform.
Applicants Highland Fling are hoping to create the first fixed bungee jumping platform in Scotland at Garry Bridge, Killiecrankie, with specially-created spectator pads nearby.
The applicants would work with the nearby Killiecrankie Visitor Centre for checking in jumpers, transporting them to the bridge and any associated retail.
Highland Fling also stated a desire to increase the “adventure tourism” market in Highland Perthshire.
Their application stated: “Other companies claim to be able to offer bungee jumping in Scotland from a mobile crane on an ad hoc, pre-booked basis.
“However, there would appear to be no dedicated bungee operators currently working in Scotland and certainly no permanent bridge bungee facility in the UK.”
