Perth residents urged to take part in Solicitors’ Will Aid

SOLICITORS in Perthshire are ‘willing’ PA readers to call them to make appointments to take part in this year’s Will Aid scheme.

Firms have pledged to write basic wills without charge in November to raise a maximum of funds for charity.

In return, the participating solicitors will ask clients to donate the fee they would normally have been charged and suggest a donation of £75 for a single will and £110 for a pair of wills.

The money will be shared between nine Will Aid charities.

In addition, will makers will be able to register their will for free - the usual cost is £28.75 per item - with the Certainty National Will Register.

To take advantage of the offer, contact a convenient Will Aid solicitor and make an appointment.

Participating solicitors can be found by looking up www.willaid.org.uk or by calling 03000300013.
