Kinross Gift Shop raising money for CHAS

WITH Christmas cards and gifts on everyone’s shopping list, the Kinross Gift Shop, run by the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS), have Christmas all wrapped up for local shoppers.

Available in the gift shop are over 50 quality Christmas card designs to choose from. CHAS receives at least 50p in every £1 of card sales.

Shoppers can also enjoy festive refreshments at the gift shop while shopping for exciting presents for all the family. Plus, for group visits, special open evenings are available by arrangement with Frances Todd on 01577 865557.

Pauline Tanbini, CHAS retail manager, said: “The shopping evenings are fantastic for groups such as clubs and societies to enjoy a leisurely browse of the wide range of gifts on offer.

“Sales from all the CHAS Christmas items will help us to run Scotland’s only children’s hospices, including Rachel House in Kinross and the CHAS At Home service.”

There will be more time to shop for Christmas bargains as well, as the gift shop will open every Sunday for four weeks from November 22-December 13, from noon-4pm.

Until then, it will be open from 10am-5pm, Monday-Saturday.

Shoppers who prefer to buy online can visit www.chas.org.uk and can be confident that deliveries will arrive in plenty of time for Christmas as CHAS uses the carrier SPDS for next day delivery within mainland Scotland.
