VisitScotland launches a £1.3 million Winter White campaign in partnership with Perth and Kinross Council

VISITSCOTLAND has launched a brand new £1.3 million Winter White campaign with Perth and Kinross Council and the region’s local tourism businesses.

The region’s official tourism organisation is spearheading a seasonal marketing drive to inspire more visitors to come to the area during the traditionally quieter winter months.

Aberfeldy Cottages, Dewars World of Whisky and Moness House Hotel and Country Club in Aberfeldy, Achray House Hotel at Loch Earn, Atholl Estates in Blair Atholl, Ballathie House Hotel at Kinclaven, Burnbank B&B in Kinross, Gloag Farm at Methven, Comrie Croft at Comrie, Dall Estate self-catering at Rannoch, Hilton Dunkeld & Country Club, The Steading at Alyth and Scottish Quads at Dunkeld are all included in the campaign that focuses on ‘white activities’ and the best things to see and do in the region this season.

Tourism growth is critical to the future of Perth and Kinross and last year’s award-winning Winter White campaign was the most successful to date.

With a wealth of exciting ‘Winter White’ things to see and do over the coming months, this year’s campaign website, www.visitscotland.com/whiteinvite, promises even more inspiration for the 12 million UK visitors who come to Scotland each year.

Perth and Kinross Council are supporting the campaign with a direct mailer that will reach 25,000 additional households in the UK and Ireland, specifically promoting the region.

Perth and Kinross Council’s Enterprise and Infrastructure convener, Councillor John Kellas said: “The Perth and Kinross area has much to offer in the winter season and we are pleased to work with VisitScotland and the local tourism sector to promote high-quality accommodation and the best of things to see and do locally.”
