A PERTH-based charity will be hosting a free fun-filled event on the Fair City’s South Inch tomorrow designed to encourage locals to get into the festive spirit.
St John’s Episcopal Church choir will be providing the musical backdrop, alongside groups from big-hearted organisations Headway, PKAVS, Young Carers, local schools and event organisers CheckIn.
As well as mulled wine and a whole host of seasonal treats, the South Street-based charity has lined-up a guest appearance from Santa.
CheckIn representative James Alexander said that the mental health fundraisers – who operate the city centre Giraffe outlet – are hoping for a bumper turnout between 5pm and 7pm.
He said: “Our Giraffe Trading CIC store is celebrating its first Christmas in Perth and we though we should do something special to mark it,” he said.
