Head invites past staff members back to school for celebration dinner

TEACHERS spanning four generations at a Perth school are to meet for a celebratory birthday dinner.

Oakbank Primary hopes to reunite teachers of the past and present – including its three former heads – to raise a glass to its ruby anniversary.

School principal, Mrs Freda Head, said: “This event is a chance for the staff to get together and share their memories.

“It’s a reminder of the journey of the school and how far it has come over the 40 years.”

Over the last year the primary has held many special occasions for pupils and their parents including a party in the playground, a fancy dress event and a cake day.

The staff dinner is set to take place at the Royal George Hotel on Friday, March 26.

Mrs Head is keen to encourage all previous staff members to get in touch and come along to join the fun.
