A HOST of attractive lots have been secured for a grand auction at next month’s Rockin’ for Kids event in Perth.
The musical extravaganza at the Salutation Hotel on Friday, August 20, will feature performances from bands Incircles, The Windows, Groove Cru and Rolling Stones tribute Sticky Fingers, as well as a wine reception featuring a classical quartet and a disco.
Another special guest on the night will be three-year-old Keira Turner who is awaiting specialist treatment in the USA to help her cope with cerebral palsy.
Organiser Athole Fleming said demand for tickets had been high.
“We are so delighted with the support and sponsorship that we have received, and it looks like RFK 2010 will be a complete sell-out very soon,” the Windows frontman declared.
“So many kind gestures of support and so many generous donations have been made and we are extremely grateful.”
Rockin’ for Kids raises vital funds for good causes and children’s groups across Perthshire and beyond.
