Word record bid by Aviva staff

HUNDREDS of energetic employees at Aviva’s Perth branch danced their way into the record books on Red Nose Day.
Over £2400 was raised for the charity by members of the insurance company’s commercial underwriting department, after 370 staff took part in the world’s largest Superman dance routine – beating the previous record of 282.
The intrepid group, organised by communications consultant Lesley Buchan, will now apply to Guinness World Records in an attempt to be listed as the most amount of people to simultaneously dance to the Black Lace hit.
A spokesperson for Aviva yesterday said: “It was really good fun and very satisfying raising the money for charity and breaking the world record.
“We are already thinking about what we can do next year.”
