A VENTURE for budding entrepreneurs from Perth is set to broaden its remit.
Traditionally, figures show that the first few months of the year are one of the busiest times for the Fair City’s Business Gateway.
Enterprising types looking for inspiration and support can take advantage of a range of free services including workshops, events and business information guides and tools.
Business Gateway has now also launched business.scotland.gov.uk/mynewbusiness, a new interactive online support service.
The free workshops take place in Robertson House at 1 Whitefriars Crescent in Perth, and run from 9.30am-12.30pm.
They will include: Start-up Marketing – today; Start-up Business Planning – next Tuesday (January 24); and Awareness – February 6.
Lorna Ritch, the operations manager at Business Gateway, said: “The first few months of the year are always busy as many people start the year by making big changes in their life.
“At Business Gateway we are committed to reviewing and updating our services in order to meet local business needs, which is why we are offering these workshops focused on helping people in the early stages of starting a business.
“Setting up and running a business can be a scary prospect but our services are designed to ensure that anyone with an idea is given the best support and advice.
“We have assisted many local business owners to realise their ambitions and to help make their venture a success.”
