Alyth knife man guilty

BACKGROUND reports have been ordered on a Perthshire man caught with a knife in a village street.

Arnold Crone (48), of Barony Park, Alyth, will be sentenced on December 17.

He pled guilty at Perth Sheriff Court this week to having the weapon in Airlie Street, Alyth, and the Alyth Hotel, in Commercial Street, on November 14.
