Coupar to be lit up

A SPECTACULAR festive lights show will be unveiled in Coupar Angus on Sunday.

The Christmas lights are due to be switched on by the lucky winner of a school art competition at 4.40pm in the town’s High Street.

Primary seven pupil Jade Bannerman will do the honours after her design for a new festive decoration for Coupar Angus was deemed the best by judges.

Sunday’s musical entertainment will be provided by the school choir. Other attractions include a cash prize raffle, refreshments and a possible appearance from Santa.
