Did you witness biker’s crash?

A FEMALE biker had to be airlifted to hospital after she fell off her motorcycle in Highland Perthshire at the weekend.

At around 3pm on Sunday, on the B846 Tummel Bridge to Aberfeldy road, the female motorcyclist fell from her bike and suffered leg and hand injuries.

Police and ambulance staff arrived at the scene and a helicopter was summoned to take the injured woman to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Although no other vehicle was involved, police have appealed for witnesses to the accident to call 0845 600 5705.
