FE students step up for awards at Perth College

OVER 300 jubilant students and their friends and families gathered at a prizegiving ceremony to celebrate their success with Perth College.

Held at Perth Racecourse, the event honoured 80 students who had shown exceptional achievement in their further education learning.

The awards were presented by Mike Beale, previous president of Perthshire Chamber of Commerce.

Mandy Exley, college principal said “Well done to all our prize-winners, who have all excelled in some way. We aim to help all of the community through Lifelong Learning and there are opportunities at the college for everyone. Many of our prize-winners today studied on part-time courses while still in employment.”
