Pupils have the write stuff

PERTH Grammar School pupil Lisa Keddie is this year’s winner of the Neil McCorkindale Essay Writing Competition, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Perth. A total of 12 essays, three from each of the four secondary schools in Perth, were submitted and the standard was uniformly high. Book tokens to the value of £10 were presented to each of the contributors.

The award has been won four times by St Columba's High School and twice by Perth High School. Lisa, of Perth, lifted the award for her essay, “Coming Home".
