ABERNETHY Primary pupils are holding an open evening for parents at the school on Monday, from 7.30-8.30pm.
The 25 children in the Primary 5/6 class will be explaining all about “Packaging,” which has been their environmental studies project for the past few weeks.
Class teacher Natalie McMillan explained: “We have looked at the amounts of packaging in use not only in Abernethy but across Scotland and the rest of the world.
“We also made our own packaging and discussed how it can be reduced and re-cycled.”
Pupil Thomas Rofe added: “Some of the class made posters and pie-charts and we will show our mums and dads the entire life cycle of packaging, all the way from when it is first made to re-cycling.”
